This event has now sold out but please join our waiting list because sometimes tickets do become available, and if we have enough interest we will do our best to add a second event.Built in the mid-1700s in the fashionable Palladian style, Mead House was the long-time home of the prominent Cripps family, perhaps especially associated with the barrister and antiquarian Wilfred Cripps. It was Wilfred who, in 1889, added the houses prominent side wings to accommodate a members club and private collection of Roman remains, later absorbed by the Corinium Museum. In 2022 the building was bought by James Morris &Adrian Zareba, ending a three-
decade stint as commercial offices and returning it, slowly and sympathetically, into
two fine residences. Find out what Adrian found in the archives and behind the
wood chip in this evocative illustrated talk.Event sponsored by Rockwealth
