Fauré Requiem

Join us for a programme of exquisite French and English music, culminating in one of the most beloved choral masterpieces ever written, Gabriel Fauré's Requiem.

The concert opens with Fauré's Cantique de Jean Racine, followed by the shimmering world of Lili Boulanger's Hymne au Soleil, and Ralph Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis.

Finally, Fauré's Requiem offers tenderness, comfort and eternal rest, from the radiant simplicity of 'Pie Jesu' to the transcendent beauty of 'In Paradisum'.
