The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde
Aldeburgh Jubilee Hall
20th July to 26th July 2026Described by the author as, A Trivial Comedy for Serious People, Wildes genre-crossing masterpiece of Romcom meets Satire has everything. Starting with lightest-touch, highbrow wit, it moves through thwarted romance to true love, by way of mistaken-identity impostor-farce.
Chosen as ACTs tribute production to the life and work of our late patron, Jill Freud, it embodies her wise advice, comedies are twice as funny when they have a big heart.Running time approximately 2hrs with interval.
Tickets 18 or 24 depending on location.
Evenings Monday to Saturday at 7:30pm and Matinees at 4pm on Thursdays and Saturdays.
(For further information, disabled access, or group bookings please call 01728 343344.)Suitable for all ages - we look forward to welcoming you.
