May is the month of so many traditions in the folk calendar, of so many songs, and with good reason!
It even has a tree named after it, the Hawthorn, or May bush. Gorse, cowslips and a host of other wild flowers also flourish, so it's only natural that storytellers blossom into telling stories.Join Storytelling at the Feast of Fools for a flowering of blooming talent our resident team of tellers are after all a blooming talented lot on May 6th at the Quaker Meeting House, with a series of individual 10 minute story spots.At the time of writing in March, all slots are available, so please let us know if youd like to claim one.Tickets will be as usual for these evenings, £6 for general admission and £4 for performers.
More good news: the evenings will be getting lighter, for arriving.
