The Supervet, Noel Fitzpatrick, is bringing his rock band for a very special and intimate show of music and chat called ‘Pets, Hugs and Rock n’ Roll.’This will be an unforgettable evening where Noel will combine his passion for storytelling with his flair for music. After three spoken-word tours of arenas and theatres across the UK in the past decade and after nineteen series of The Supervet TV show on Channel 4, Noel has now formed a band with immensely talented musicians who have played with bands from ELO to Take That, from The Darkness to Anthrax and even The Hans Zimmer Orchestra.Brian May from the band Queen and Tony Iommi from the band Black Sabbath have been instrumental and hugely supportive in encouraging Noel to follow his dream as a musician.Noel says, ‘The story of how my journey in medicine and also my journey in music all came about is alone worth coming for, as it’s a story of dreaming big and making impossible things happen.
It’s a story for anyone who has ever had a dream and anyone who has ever suffered setbacks – which is all of us.’The Noel Fitzpatrick Band have been recording their first album at Peter Gabriel’s studio, Real World, and will play some of their new songs, alongside classic rock covers from AC/DC to Bryan Adams, from Bon Jovi to The Cure.Noel will weave stories from his life and times as a vet, both funny and factual, both uplifting and eyebrow-raising, amongst his favourite songs to mould a concert like no other you’ve ever seen.Noel is determined to spread love, hope and joy through his music and his stories as he has been with his work as a professor and practicing clinician in neuro-orthopaedic surgery. There will be an opportunity for audience participation with ‘ask me anything’ and there will be something for everyone who loves hearing great stories about ‘animals and their humans’ alongside fantastic rock music.Again in the words of Noel himself, ‘We live in difficult times - and if you need cheering up in a world of mayhem, if you need a big hug, if you need to laugh and to dance at the same time, if you like rock music and if you like animals, if you like stories about how your heroes can become your friends and urge you to be as excited as an giddy child all over again – then this evening is for you.’VIP M&G ticket holders to arrive at 5.45pm for a 6pm start - this includes: a signed photo/poster and a chat with Noel before the show and front row seats.Standard ticket holders to arrive at 6.30pm when the doors open.Dancing may happen throughout this show.WHEN BOOKING YOUR SEATS - PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY EMPTY SINGLE SEATS BETWEEN YOUR BOOKING AND THE OTHERS ON THE SYSTEM, AS THIS SHOW WILL BE POPULAR AND WE CAN'T SELL SINGLE SEATS.Accessibility for showsAll wheelchair access must be booked through the box office (can’t be booked online). This allocation is Stalls Right Row AA, if any are available at the time of booking.
