Junior Archaeologists: Dig Pits

Celebrate the Festival of Archaeology 2026 and book your young archaeologists (age 7+) onto one of our kid's workshops: Unearth and rebuild artefacts in our Dig Pit activity.Each young archaeologist will receive their very own certificate to take away, too!An alternative self-guided activity will be provided for younger children (under 7) accompanying children taking part.Dig Pits sessions will run at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2pm.

Sessions last around 45 minutes.Dig Pit activities are free but places are limited so booking is essential.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.
