Brandenburg Choral Festival of London Presents the Ionian Singers - English Delights Rediscovered

The Brandenburg Choral Festival of London is delighted to welcome back our old friends - the Ionian Singers with a typically eclectic programme.English Delights Rediscovered...
The Ionian Singers with Emily Gray mezzo soprano and Timothy Salter conductor and pianist present a rich and varied palette of English music from the early 20c. to the present, including choral works by Gerald Finzi, Frank Bridge and Elizabeth Maconchy and songs rarely heard since their composition in the early 20c. by Arnold Bax, Edwin York Bowen, Herbert Howells and Stanley Bate. English folk-song arrangements by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Salter complete the programme.
