Royal Yachtsmen, affectionately known as ‘Yotties’, were hand‑picked Royal Navy sailors who served aboard Britannia throughout her years of Royal service (1953–1997). A ceremonial grand entrance into the State Dining Room marking the start of dinner where the whispers of history mingles with candlelight and music. A sublime five-course dinner, created by former royal Chef Lional Mann with over twenty years service in royal kitchens, working alongside Britannia’s own chefs to shape a menu and wines inspired by the favourites of Queen Elizabeth II herself. Over dessert and coffee, William French, former private butler to Queen Elizabeth II, will share his experiences of working aboard such an iconic ship.Royal Deck and Dancing
After dinner, follow the nostalgic sounds of Rat Pack classics on the ship’s Royal Deck, dancing is warmly encouraged and cocktails flow.
