Hackney School of Food Autumn term cooking club

This autumn, let your child discover the joy of cooking and gardening with the Hackney School of Food After School Cooking Club.Designed to build confidence, curiosity and practical skills, this hands-on club gives children the opportunity to get creative in the kitchen and garden. Theyll learn essential cooking techniques, including knife-handling and bread-making, while preparing delicious, child-friendly recipes.Each week, young chefs explore a new dish, discovering different cultures, ingredients and cooking techniques while making the most of seasonal produce grown in our gardens. Recent recipes have included garden pesto tartlets made with herbs harvested from the garden, sweet potato latkes for Chanukah and hand-rolled veggie sushi, alongside a selection of other seasonal dishes.We are a nut-free site, helping us provide a safe environment for children with nut allergies. Please make sure all dietary requirements and allergies are shared with us in advance.Cost
