Djf26: Colin Steele Quintet Plays Miles Davis

Part of Dundee Jazz Festival 2026
Nobody plays Miles Davis quite like Colin Steele. For over three decades, Colin has been at the heart of Scottish jazz, and there’s no better way to open this year’s festival than with his quintet.Expect timeless classics played with raw energy, freshness, and soul. Whether you’ve listened to ‘Kind of Blue’ a thousand times or you’re completely new to jazz, this is the place to be."The most utterly sublime jazz I’ve heard in a long time... A scintillating, pulsating ninety minutes of superlative playing." — FringeReview.co.ukLine-up: Colin Steele (trumpet), Konrad Wiszniewski (saxophone), Dave Milligan (piano), Kenny Ellis (bass), and Max Popp (drums).Doors open 7 pm
