Growing up in Glasgow’s vibrant jazz scene, Georgia's grandfather was a renowned jazz pianist and she studied piano first before training as a vocalist and graduating from Edinburgh Napier University with a first class honours in popular music.Inspired by the likes of Nina Simone, Stevie Wonder, Nancy Wilson, Aretha Franklin and Duke Ellington, the vocalist and songwriter’s debut album ‘Only The Lover Sings' co-written with her pianist Euan Stevenson, was “one of the most heralded albums of 2021” (Jazzwise) and topped the UK Official Charts -Jazz and Blues category.Her sound has been described as having retro jazz, soul and r&b influences; particularly the girl groups of the 60s and 70s.

She perfectly mixes classic songwriting with contemporary production and modern vitality - keeping storytelling and impeccable vocals at the forefront.
