Front and Centre Scratch

Back to Front & Centre: Second ActDay Three of Front & Centre: Second ActFour groups.

One audience.

Nothing finished.Scratch is where an idea finds out whether it actually works in front of people.Nothing is polished, nothing is finished, and none of it has met an audience before.

Some of it will fly.

Some of it will not.

That is the point. You get to watch that happen, and your response is a vital part of it.Four short pieces, one after the other, with a break to talk in between.

Scripts in hands, no set to speak of, and work that may well change again on the strength of what happens in the room. You do not need to know anything about theatre to come.

You do not need to have an opinion ready.

If you have ever wondered what a play looks like before it looks like a play, this is that.Because the work is new and unfinished, we cannot always say in advance what each piece contains.

Anything we do know will be flagged on the day.Front & Centre: Second Act is presented by The Playhouse with Women's Aid Foyle and Verbal, supported by PEACEPLUS and Derry City & Strabane District Council.
