Portfolio Building Class

This week-long course focuses on the practical creation of visual art portfolio pieces.

Participants will spend most of the week in hands-on studio sessions developing new artworks through guided exercises, creative prompts, and experimentation with materials and techniques.Students will produce several portfolio-ready pieces while receiving feedback and support to refine their ideas and skills.

The course will also include brief guidance on selecting, documenting, and presenting artwork effectively for a visual art portfolio.By the end of the week, participants will have a small collection of new work and a stronger foundation for building a visual art portfolio.The workshop will be led by qualified artist and teacher Michelle Winslow B.A. (Hons) Fine art sculpture, MPhil Art and design in organisational contexts, Glasgow school of art.

PGCE secondary education.

Michelle is an experienced secondary school art teacher who now works as an art tutor for the Harbour Art centre and KALeisure.Students should bring a packed lunch with them each day.
