A fun-packed, family-oriented morning of dance where this time, the experts might not be the students!Together with your child, you will learn a small piece of EASY choreography. This will be inclusive and cater to everyones abilities. The focus will be on having FUN, not precision! Once again weve added this event to our exciting events calendar due to popular demand. You will spend the morning learning a dance at Stage 84 with our professional choreographer, along with other adults and children.Frankies Dad said Its a lot of fun, we are doing a brilliant routine, getting a little bit fitter and its great to spend a Saturday morning together raising money for charity, cant wait for the next one!Come along ready to dance and even sing along if you want to! There will be time to grab a drink or a snack from our tuck shop during the break.Friends of Stage 84 is a volunteer-led organisation established to support and promote participation in the performing arts, with a particular focus on singing, dance, drama and musical theatre.Through our fundraising and community events, we raise funds to provide resources, equipment and opportunities that enhance performing arts education and participation for children and young people. We also support opportunities for our students to perform and engage with audiences beyond the classroom, helping to build confidence, develop skills and promote the performing arts within our local community.Alongside our support for the performing arts, we are also committed to giving back to our wider community. This year, 10% of the proceeds raised through Friends of Stage 84 events will be donated to our chosen charity, Yorkshire Childrens Charity.
Yorkshire Childrens Charity works across Yorkshire to improve the lives of children and young people experiencing disadvantage through disability, ill health or financial circumstances, helping them and their families to access practical support and positive opportunities.By supporting one or more of our events, you are helping us to raise funds for the performing arts, create opportunities for children and young people to participate and perform, and make a positive contribution to our wider community. This event is recommended for: Stage 84 students together with their parent or guardian (age 18 or over)
