Sarah Bolter started with the Johnny Howard Big Band at the Bournemouth Pavilion and, as a teenager, played most weekends with the New Dorset Dance Orchestra. She specialised in jazz alto and classical soprano sax at Southampton UniversityIn 2001, she formed her own band Not Just Sax, which has 6 recorded albums, with the latest produced by Jools Hollands sax player, Derek Nash. Sarah also fronts London-based band Sax in The City, performing at venues including Pizza Express Soho, Toulouse Lautrec and the CAA Club there.Her festival performances include the Isle of Wight Jazz Festival, Jazz on The Meadow, Newport Jazz Festival, Brighton Fringe, Swanage Jazz Festival and many jazz clubs. Sarah also works on a variety of theatre tribute shows to Bowie, Meatloaf, Cher, Abba and the Rat Pack.
