Prepare to be amazed on a two hour tour of the most famous magic society in the world. Step inside the 120-year-old society for magicians to learn about the history and evolution of the Magic Circle and its position in the history of magic. We will be guided through corridors lined with magical artefacts and stunning posters, and hear stories about famous illusionists from the past. We will see memorabilia donated by members past and present including Tommy Cooper's fez, King Charles' cups and balls, Houdini's straightjacket, and Sooty (the only non- human member of The Magic Circle), before witnessing some real magic in a close-up magic performance in the Magic Circle clubroom.
We will have coffee/tea and biscuits on arrival, followed by a two hour tour and a 15-20 minute close-up magic performance. There is a lift to all floors.
