Cheltenham Inter Faith - Talk From Dr Scilla Elworthy

Inspirational talk with guest speaker Dr Scilla Elworthy, who was three times nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.Dr Elworthy will give a talk on the topic of 'The world over, why women are the key to a safer global future', followed by a short workshop.

She will introduce accounts of women she knows who have made a real difference in the world, reporting what they achieved and the ways they work, with colleagues, with authorities, and how they deal with opposition.

She is interested in what skills they use, what they were up against, and what we can learn from how they help to make the world safer, in these troubled times.Entry is by donation.Dr Elworthy is the founder of Peace Direct, of The Mighty Heart training and of the Oxford Research Group.
