Massenet's Werther at St Nicholas Priory, Exeter, on Saturday, 27 November 2027.Based on Goethe's famous novel, Werther tells the moving story of the passionate young poet Werther, whose deep love for Charlotte leads to one of opera's most touching and tragic romances.

Renowned for its beautiful melodies, emotional intensity, and rich orchestral writing, Werther is widely regarded as one of the masterpieces of French opera.This special performance will feature outstanding soloists, with Robert Felstead as Werther and Iryna Ilnytska as Charlotte.
