Brazilian Energy…a celebration of music, dance and food.

Bom dia! Come join us at The Staiths Cafe for a vibrant celebration of Brazilian culture! Get ready to immerse yourself in the rhythms of samba, taste delicious Brazilian cuisine, and dance the day away.

This event is your ticket to experience the lively spirit of Brazil right here in our community.Don't miss out on this opportunity to feel the Brazilian Energy!Expect... a caipirinha welcome drink on arrival, fun Brazilian themed decor, games, drumming and dance performance, a sparkling performance by Samba dancer Ale, live music from Tropicanos 5.30-7.30pm, delicious food available from The Brazilian Bakery (sold separately, get there early before it sells out!), an exhibition of Brazilian artwork and DJ Bobzilla playing some choice Brazilian cuts on the terrace from 7.30pm until late....all whilst the sun sets on the Tyne Rio!A range of drinks and cakes will be available to purchase including soft drinks, hot drinks, cocktails, wine, prosecco, cider, beer, lager and draft...plus Brazilian snacks!All welcome - Early bird tickets for the Saturday party are still available and under 10yrs go free! All performances and entertainment included in ticket price.

We suggest you car share, walk and use public transport where possible.

There is additional parking on Teemers Drive, Rose Street and Staithes Road.If you missed the 2025 party DO NOT MISS this one....see you there!This party is the main event in our Brazilian Energy week at the cafe which features a samba dance workshop on Mon 20th, Zumba Class Wed 22nd and Brazilian fit classes on both Tues 21st & Thur 23rd.
