InfoBirmingham Pride will take place from the 28th to 30th May 2027.Birmingham Pride held its first event back in 1997. Over the following 30 years Birmingham Pride has become one of the most important LGBTQ+ festivals in the UK attracting in excess of 40,000 people over the course of the weekend to the festival sites in the heart of the LGBTQ+ village with 200 groups participating in our annual pride parade through the streets of Birmingham. Parade
The Parade takes place on Saturday and starts at 12:00 and leaves from Victoria Square, Birmingham City Centre. The Birmingham Pride parade is free to view, but you do need to register to take part. The parade starts making its way through the city from noon, ending in the LGBTQ+ Village, where people then make their way to the main festival activities. Our Pride Parade is a march for equality and a celebration of LGBTQ+ life in the city. The Birmingham Pride Parade march is one of the most important aspects of the entire festival weekend, enjoyed by tens of thousands of participants, walking, marching or aboard creatively decorated floats.Main Festival
The festival site features the Main Stage, Cabaret Marquee Stage, Dance Arena, Fun Fair, Stalls and food vendors. The Gay Village centred around Hurst Street, Bromsgrove Street, Kent Street and Lower Essex Street will feature entertainment provided by all of your favourite LGBTQ+ bars and clubs.After party
