A time-based sculpture workshop using nature materials inspired by Jonathan Andersons Sand House, 2006 and Time & Tide, 2008Participants will create simple, temporary sculptures using natural materials from the gallery garden or workshop space. The workshop will focus on process and transformation, exploring how sculptures can change over time through movement, weather or touch, even in a subtle way. They will experiment with arranging, stacking, shaping and combining materials to create forms that respond to their environment. Participants will document their sculpture through photography or a short video, capturing its changing form.A limited number of free places are available to our refugee community and individuals seeking asylum or those with Passport to Leisure. Please ask our friendly team for more details.Contact the Gallery for all access information.
