David Garrick and William Hogarth shared a vibrant 18th century friendship defined by deep mutual respect, intense artistic collaboration, and frequent, good-natured sparring.

The brilliant painter and the revolutionary actor pushed the boundaries of their respective crafts, fundamentally elevating the status of British artists and performers.

The presentation will feature a conversation between playwright Gareth Armstrong and actor/director Ellis Jones about the two 18th century geniuses, illustrated with excerpts from Armstrongs play 'Round about Hogarth', performed by actors Robin Kermode and Nicholas Day.
