Peking Opera in Shadow

Discover the world of Peking Opera through puppetry in this family-friendly performance and workshop. The event begins with a 30-minute puppet performance bringing a story from Peking Opera to life through shadow puppetry and Peking Opera singing.

Inspired by the performance, participants will create a puppet of their own, a small keepsake shaped by family time and personal memory, and continuing the storytelling in their own way.The workshop is designed for children and families, and all children must be accompanied by a parent, carer or responsible adult throughout.
