Jade and the Beanstalk

JADE is Streetz Ahead's new professional children's hip-hop and dance theatre production, at Bernie Grant Arts Centre this October.Jade's superpower is her imagination, helping us see the world differently as she tries to make sense of her neurodivergence and the loss of her motherFunded by Arts Council England, written by Elizabeth Lahav and directed by ZooNation's Eli Smith, JADE forms part of our commitment to creating original professional theatre that welcomes more children and young people into arts spaces. The production explores grief, loss and hope through dynamic hip-hop theatre and humorous narration.

Through Jade's imaginative stories, it offers children an embodied and immersive way to open conversations about the many different ways we experience and process grief.
