Free Registration requiredStorymakers is a unique multimedia project by Bangor actor, writer and composer Richard Clements that celebrates the power of memory, family stories and the voices that shape us. Inspired by a recording of his late grandfather heard at the close of his acclaimed play How to Bury a Dead Mule (which was given a first public airing at Aspects Festival 2021) the project has grown into an extraordinary collaboration combining spoken word, original music, film and visual art.Supported by Belfast Stories and the Northern Ireland Screen Digital Film Archive, two Storymakers albums now capture deeply personal stories and poems with universal themes of identity, loss, resilience and belonging. Aspects marks the next stage. Bangor artist, Richard Kerrigan has painted 25 new works of art based on the stories, poems and wider context of the project.Join both Richards for a special exhibition event, featuring film screenings and a fascinating conversation exploring the creative journey behind this ever-evolving celebration of storytelling across art forms.
