Exciting, hands-on creative workshops for kids ages 7-11.
Led by a visiting artist, these small, group workshops will explore different artistic and creative practices to help young people learn more about the museum’s exhibitions and collection without their grown-ups present.
The workshops will take place mainly in our Learning Centre studios but also include a visit to an exhibition or gallery.
Workshop information Imagine that! What are the ingredients of a great story? Join artist and writer Hannah Kelly for a workshop all about stories.
Explore the museum through playful prompts and let your imagination transform objects into story ingredients.
Then head back to our studios and begin to build your story, mix and matching your ingredients to discover the recipe for a story - the building blocks that turn ideas into plots.
