Bachs Cello Suites BWV 10071012 are now among his best-known works, but they were largely forgotten until the early 20th century. Most likely written during his time in Kthen, each suite is based on Baroque dance forms and combines clarity, control, and expressive detail.This six-part concert series from the Oxford Bach Soloists features all six Cello Suites performed by principal cellist Henrik Persson.
