Myopia celebrate the release of their new EP What Happens Next? With a small and intimate tour at some of the best venues around the UK.Please note this venue is strictly 18+At The Peer Hat show they will be joined by West Yorkshire based Alt Rock Band Lomens and Heavy Alt Rock band Oceanvein.MYOPIA
Frontman Oliie Edgington and drummer Elliot Hawkins make up the two integral pieces of Essex based genre-defying alternative rock band Myopia. With influences including Muse, Radiohead and Pink Floyd, the duo fuse alt rock and heavy metal with elements of shoegaze, indie, commercial rock, pop and even some intuitive acoustic moments.2026 has seen Myopia take the stage with their first UK headline tour in the spring before a string of Summer festival appearances including Northants Rocks, Northampton and a mainstage opening set at Leestock in Suffolk. They have continued to release new music throughout 2026 including, punk-fuelled banger Two on the Ground, happy-sad indie summer bop The Way They Go Down, and the dark and lustful Petal before releasing their latest EP What Happens Next?. And they are not finished for 2026 as they embark on a five date UK tour and they still have one more big release!!! Their third studio album, out November 27th!!!LOMENS
Formed in August 2024, LOMENS are a six-piece West Yorkshire alt-rock band fusing explosive energy, sharp melodic hooks and raw, introspective lyrics. Live they deliver a rhythmic assault punctuated by melancholic moments of calm and layers of intricate melody, a dynamic that runs through every track.Their debut EP Surely Not? stands as a bold, emotionally charged statement that has firmly marked
them as one of the most exciting new acts rising through the UK alternative and rock scenes.OCEANVEIN
Diving into the depths and delights of modern heavy music, Oceanvein boasts an outrageously ambitious collective of creative explorers. Since its humble inception as a passion project between lifelong friends Lucas Colyer and David Mackay, Oceanvein has expanded to a full-on cabal of deeply motivated comrades.
Blending hypnagogic textures and enchanting melodies with a dose of disgustingly heavy riffs, their oeuvre officially commenced in 2025 with huge releases and pulse-pounding live shows. If you have any interest in the state of modern rock music, you need to check these guys out!
