It is an accessible analogue technique that is easy to learn and offers rich opportunities for experimentation and creative success.During this Introduction to Cyanotype Printing workshop, youll observe the chemistry in action, handle examples, watch demonstrations of different techniques and then try these methods yourself to produce several pieces of work to take home.This workshop will have a botanical theme and will be relaxed, accessible and sustainable, using plants and flowers provided by the tutor.
You may also bring your own botanical materials or forage responsibly from the banks of the Avon beside Locksbrook Campus or one of the nearby green spaces.Introduction to Cyanotype Printing is designed so everyone can participate at whatever level suits them.
The process is experimental so there is no right or wrong.Please wear old clothes as the course may get messy.
The next course takes place Wednesday 9 September, 10:30am 3:30pm.
Youll have an hour break for lunch.
