Hand Embroidery for Beginners4 weeks - Mondays 11th January - 1st February
7pm - 9pm
Learn the core hand embroidery stitches to create a beautiful sampler of your creative work with tutor Ruth Lloyd. You will learn at least 10 stitches and use these to make an embroidery on linen of your own design.
Ruth trained in textiles and fine art at Goldsmiths College London, and later in millinery.
She was an educator at the V&A Museum and more recently designed and led expressive arts training for teachers and artists as co-ordinator of the Arts and Education Network for South-East Wales.
125.00 - includes all embroidery materials and a weekly glass of wine
Please bring your own embroidery scissors. The evening classes will be run at The Muse Brecon, upstairs in the Art Studio. Please get in touch if you have any accessibility or additional needs.
