With almost 25 years behind the decks, DJ Spoony has become one of the UK's most respected and influential DJs.

His passion for music began at just 15 years old, mixing records in his bedroom before going on to shape the sound of UK garage and beyond.Born in Hackney, Spoony's musical influences span reggae, calypso, soul and pop.

During the 1990s he joined a London pirate radio station, where he met Timmi Magic and Mikee B.

Together they formed the legendary Dream Teem, whose pioneering sound took the UK by storm.

Their success led to acclaimed shows on KISS FM, Galaxy FM and eventually BBC Radio 1.As the Dream Teem's reputation grew, they enjoyed chart success, headlined clubs across the globe and secured residencies at the iconic Twice As Nice.
