An Afternoon Of Indie Norwich (over 30s Only)

The UK's biggest indie party in 17 cities, is coming to Norwich for this special summer indoor and outdoor edition at The Junkyard, St Mary's Works.We'll be playing a mix of indie classics from across the decades so whether you were an 70s punk, 80s new waver, 90s britpopper or early 00s poser they'll be something for everyone.An Afternoon of Indie will be taking place in the indoors The Hangar venue, but you'll be able to take full advantage of the outdoor courtyard too which will be serving street food (think burgers, wings, veggie eats, fries), craft beers, cocktails and frozen slushies thoughout the event.The party will finish at 7pm, but you'll be free to hang around for some food or more drinksThere is a strict door policy of no under 30s, so please bring ID as you will be asked to show it upon entry.What to expect: The best in indie from: Bowie, Pulp, The Clash, The Jam, The Cure, Blur, Arctic Monkeys, Joy Division, The Stone Roses, The Smiths, New Order, The Strokes, Supergrass, Franz Ferdinand, Nirvana, Ash, Rolling Stones, Primal Scream, The Killers, Sultans of Ping, Oasis, The Buzzcocks, Ramones, The Specials, Blondie, Hole, Madness, The La's, Weezer, The Cardigans, The Housemartins, The Coral, The Undertones, Inspiral Carpets, Bloc Party, The Beatles, Carter USM, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Radiohead, Suede, Echo and The Bunnymen, Pixies, The Wonder Stuff, Depeche Mode plus the odd bit of rock n roll, soul, northern soul and ska!Presented by Jomi Events Ltd.This is a 30+ event.
