Brecon Jazz Club: Organik Trio

BJC on Tuesday 13th October at 8pm (doors open 7.30pm), the Muse
ORGANIK Organ Trio: Pete Whittaker (organ), Deirdre Cartwright (guitar), Gary Hammond (congas/percussion)
Inspired by the sounds of the classic jazz organ/guitar trios of the 1960s - such as the music of Kenny Burrell/Jimmy Smith and Grant Green/Larry Young, Wes Montgomery/Melvin Rhyne - the Trio also play some original takes on the Beatles, The Doors, Dire Straits and Ray Charles. Promises to be lively, upbeat and very groovy!
