An intelligent interpreter of songs in the jazz tradition, she has been hailed as a musician's singer due to her wonderful way of using dynamics, texture and rhythm. Home to The Vaux Room, an intimate live music space with a vintage vibe. Seating with tables is unallocated, first come, and limited to 40. On the door ticketing is not guaranteed, so book early.The venue is situated on the edge of the city centre and is within a 15-minute walk from both bus and train stations, with free off-peak car parking directly behind the venue. The Vaux Suite is upstairs, with no alternative acess or those unable to attempt the stairs.The Old Black Cat Jazz Club meet regularly in Sunderland for relaxed performances in beautiful surroundings. All are welcome.
