The Bhavan presents Summer School Showcase 2026: Tabla Solo & Hindustani Vocal Concert

As part of Summer School teachers' concert series 2026 Madhusudhan Barman will do a solo Tabla presentation followed by Hindustani Vocal concert by Mithali Bhawmik accompanied by resident Tabla teacher Pandit Rajkumar Misra.About the artist:
Mitali Bhawmik is a Hindustani classical vocalist from Assam, trained under eminent gurus including Pandit Biren Phukan, Vidushi Meera Banerjee, and Padmabhushan Pandit V. G. Jog. She will be accompanied by Pandit Rajkumar Misra, a tabla player of great respect and resident tabla teacher at The Bhavan.Madhusudan Barman is a renowned Tabla artist trained by his father Late Barendra Mohan Barman and the legendary Pandit Sankar Ghosh.
