You could go straight up May Hill from the A40, but it's a bit steep! The route we have chosen is much less demanding.
You could go straight up May Hill from the A40, but it's a bit steep! The route we have chosen is much less demanding. We reach the summit on a long moderate/gentle slope from Huntley Church via Gander's Green. From here we should have an astonishing view of the surrounding counties plus the Severn Bend far below. We descend through Bearfoot Wood and Bright's Hill.
