HMS Pinafore

Presented by Tees Valley Gilbert & Sullivan Society.
All aboard HMS Pinafore!
The global phenomenon returns as the most famous ship in light opera sails back into Middlesbrough Theatre this October.
With infectious, toe tapping tunes, playful satire, and more laughs than a hyena’s comedy night, Pinafore remains one of the most successful musical comedies ever written.
Expect love, drama, class issues and absurdity as the First Lord of the Admiralty — a man who has never been to sea — arrives to complicate a sailor’s forbidden romance.
This joyful production brings Gilbert & Sullivan’s timeless classic to life for all ages.
