This walk, just south east of Reading town centre, features a beautiful historic suburb of large Victorian and Edwardian houses which have retained their original character, with dramatic mature species of trees planted by our forbears from days gone by. Great possibilities for photographs. We will also take a peek at the Cedar trees in the dreamy Old Cemetery before exploring the landscaped gardens and cloisters of the original University of Reading.
Bring water and a snack. Some small food shops available en route. Sensible shoes, a hat and sun cream. Toilets at start and end of walk. Cafes en route.Walk length / difficulty / accessibility
