Discover over 200 years of history-making science at the Royal Institution. We will have a one and a half hour guided tour focusing on the history and architecture of the Royal Institution as well as telling the stories behind some of the museums displays. The exhibitions are arranged over three floors covering communication on the first floor, where hopefully, provided it is not in use, we will be able to visit the historic theatre where the Christmas Lectures are recorded. The ground floor deals with various aspects of the Royal Institution's activities, past and present, whilst the lower ground floor is devoted to the history of scientific discovery in the building. Afterwards you are free to spend further time exploring the Faraday Museum.
There is a lift to all public floors plus a caf serving light refreshments.
