Introduction to Collagraph Printmaking

This two day introductory workshop will take you though the basic process of making prints using collaged materials.

The workshop will be led by Master Printmaker Gill Murray who is based in Edinburgh.

GIll uses collograph in her own practice often combined with screenprint.

We will cover materials and backgrounds for collaged printing plates and then explore the range of the inking and wiping process.

Printing will use our studio etching press.

Collograph is a fun and creative approach to printing often using recycled materials to produce a range of textural images.
