Astatine Trio

The award-winning Astatine Trio has emerged as one of the UK’s most exciting young ensembles and opens this year’s series of recitals by current BBC New Generation Artists.

From 2022-25 the trio benefited from the mentorship of the late Alfred Brendel at his personal invitation and have recently been recognised by the world’s most prestigious chamber music awards, including becoming the first UK-based ensemble in history to win a main prize at the 2025 International Chamber Music Competition in Graz.
