Introduction to Macram Masterclass
With Tara Goddard - Island MacrameCurious about macram but not sure where to start?Join Tara from Island Macram for a relaxed and creative introduction to this wonderfully mindful craft. In this 3-hour workshop, youll learn the essential knots used in modern macram and how simple cords can be transformed into beautiful handmade pieces.Well begin with a short knot practice to build confidence before moving on to your chosen project. Instead of everyone working on the same piece, youll be able to choose from a small selection of beginner-friendly designs such as:
a macram keyring
a wristlet strap
a mini plant hanger
or a simple wall hangingYou can work at your own pace and Tara will guide you step-by-step throughout the session.All materials are provided, and youll leave with a finished piece (or two) and the confidence to continue exploring macram at home.
