ased in Glasgow, JKL Duo brings together Italian guitarist Jacopo
Lazzaretti and Scottish flautist Kerry Lazzaretti in a partnership that
is musical and personal. Married and performing together since
2015, they have forged a distinctive voice that reimagines what
flute and guitar can be together. The Duo has created two albums :
The International Poet, a bold commissioning initiative paying
homage to Robert Burns, and Joy, which brings together original
arrangements of music they love, moving freely across styles and
influences.
Both trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, with Jacopo
also graduating from the Conservatoire of Santa Cecilia in Rome.
Whether performing new works, reinterpreting well-known pieces
or crafting intimate acoustic programmes, JKL Duo invites you into
a space of elegance and creativity.
