Manga Vikings
Get ready to create your own Viking characters manga-style! In this fun and hands-on session, you will master the aspects of manga drawing such as facial expressions, features, and poses. You will also design your original characters inspired by Viking and Anglo-Saxon culture adding clothing, weaponry, maybe even a mythical animal companion! No previous art experience is needed and materials are provided you will only need to bring your creativity and enthusiasm.Suitable for ages 7+
Number of participants: up to 25. Parents are welcome to stay or drop off/pick up.
Basic drawing materials will be provided, but you are also very welcome to bring and use your own.About Eira:
Eira Richards is a comics and manga artist and illustrator. Eiras work includes The Witch-Hare, a manga retelling of Welsh witch-hare stories, as well as her original title, Chemical Blue, and an instructional book, Creating Manga Characters. Since 2009, Eira has been a member of Sweatdrop Studios, UKs first original manga publisher. Eira is also an experienced artist educator, and has taught at schools, libraries, festivals and events.
