Cyanotype Masterclass with Leena Nammari

Cyanotype is the original "blueprint" a chemical form of printing using ultraviolet light.

On this one day workshop master printmaker Leena Nammari will take you through this enjoyable process.

We will be using photocopies, images from photos, and plant materials, feathers, hand drawn transparencies.

Participants should bring images, photographs and ideas to experiment with on the workshop.During the workshop you will learn to mix your own chemicals and coat your own papers, finding the joy of this incredibly accessible process.

This workshop is suitable for those new to Cyanotype and experienced printmakers.

Leena will be on hand to share her experience and knowledge of this medium.Leena Nammari is a Palestinian Artist-Printmaker based in Scotland.

She is a master printmaker and for many years helped to run Edinburgh Printmakers Workshop.

Alongside her own private practice she is currently undertaking a PhD in Art and Humanities at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art.
