Pilgrimage to Thorney Abbey

Join us for a pilgrimage from Peterborough Cathedral to Thorney Abbey.

Setting off at 9:30am from Peterborough Cathedral, well walk approximately 9 miles, sharing fellowship and reflection along the way and finishing at around 2:30pm with a short service of thanksgiving and refreshments at Thorney Abbey.Free to attend and everyone is welcome.Please wear suitable footwear and clothing appropriate for the weather, and bring a packed lunch to enjoy on arrival (tea and coffee will be provided).Children are very welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

A short questionnaire about any medical needs will need to be completed beforehand.Travel arrangements: The pilgrimage finishes in Thorney.

Participants are expected to make their own travel arrangements for the return journey to Peterborough.

Public bus services operate between Thorney and Peterborough.This event is free to attend, although donations to help cover costs are most welcome.
