Cathedral Choir Concert

Join us for an evening of festive entertainment as the full Choir of Llandaff Cathedral - all 40 boy and girl choristers, joined by an adult back row of 12 - perform music by Mack Wilberg, Philip Stopford, Morten Lauridsen and John Rutter, alongside many of your favourite carols.

Warm up with a glass of mulled wine before the music begins, then settle in for an evening that moves between the choir's own carols and congregational singing you can join in with, with seasonal readings - sacred and secular - woven throughout, and an interval partway through to stretch your legs and grab another drink.The choir sings seven services a week during term time, and its choristers are educated at Llandaff Cathedral School, the only Anglican cathedral school left in Wales.

Boys and girls have sung as full equals in the choir since 2022, and the adult back row brings together professional and semi-professional singers alongside students from across all walks of life.

It's a group that's sung for royalty and broadcast worldwide - this Christmas concert is a chance to hear that same choir at home, in the building they sing in every week.
