FREE CPD Session with Artist Rachel Sale

Join artist and educator Rachel Sale for a CPD (continuing professional development) session connected to Charleston's 'Reimagine' project, a creative learning programme and exhibition developed with Year 9 students from Seahaven Academy.This session is open to all educators and practitioners interested in creative learning, including teachers, youth workers, social workers, artists and home educators.Rachel will share an insight into her practice, which explores illustration as a tool for self-reflection and creative expression.

She will lead two drawing activities: one that creates space for meditation and self-care, and another that looks at how metaphors can help us connect to ourselves.

Through large-scale drawing, mapping, abstraction and poetry, you will explore accessible creative approaches that can also be adapted for use with young people in educational and community settings.Spaces are limited, so please register to reserve your free place.
