Hearing from writers, musicians, artists, superfans, photographers, filmmakers and everyday music lovers, we dive into personal stories, esoteric bands, fan communities, punk, pop, social change and much more. Maia Roman is a Brighton-based illustrator and designer whose practice is shaped by the influence of music, both as a source of inspiration and as a creative tool. She explores the relationship between sound and visual expression as a way to create bold, graphic imagery. She is best known for designing posters, merchandise, and promotional visuals for local musicians and independent businesses.Baz Francis is a singer, guitarist, keyboardist and songwriter plus founding member of the bands Magic Eight Ball and Mansion Harlots. Collectively releasing 5 albums so far through Magic Cat Records (both solo and with his bands), Baz has toured and recorded extensively across the world, along the way opening for acts such as Art Alexakis (Everclear), Blind Melon and Chuck Mosley (Faith No More) as well as working with artists such as comedy legend Rik Mayall.Chris Bethell -Award-winning documentary photographer with a passion for music and an interest in subcultures. He's worked with The Face, Timeout, VICE, Dazed, and he won the Portrait of Britain award in 2021.8 entry.
