Hiads Station Sessions Pantomime Skills

A hands-on panto performance workshop, from working the audience to the traditional scenes every panto needs.

Oh yes it is.Panto is its own wonderful beast, and playing it well is a proper skill.

In this session we'll get on our feet and try the craft for ourselves: working an audience, timing the gags, and having a go at the traditional scenes and set pieces you'll meet in any pantomime worth its custard pie.We've placed this one just before our own panto auditions, so it's a brilliant warm-up if you're thinking of going for a part.

To be clear though, it's a workshop, not an audition: come along purely for the fun of it.

No experience needed.The kettle's on from 10am, and the session runs 10.30am to 12.30pm. 5 HIADS members, 10 public.
